The Place Of Grace

A place of connection
with all that is

Welcome to our website

The Place of Grace

I am Ines.

MY NAME IS INES.

Welcome to The Place of Grace, a place of connection with the living.

This place was born from a deep relationship with the horse… and from an essential quest: to restore a true connection with Life — within us and around us. To reconnect with our essence.

Here, the horses live in a herd, in an environment that is respectful of their fundamental needs. They are sensitive and conscious partners, powerful guides who bring us back to what truly matters: the body, presence, breath, and the truth of the moment.

What we experience here is both deeply spiritual and fully embodied. Rooted in the awareness that everything is connected. That every being, every emotion, every sensation, every intention, every breath is part of a vast living fabric.

And that when we move through our wounds, when we heal, we remember this interconnection. And we reclaim our creative power. We do this for ourselves… and for the greater whole, at the same time.

The approach we offer is an invitation to restore our life force through the spontaneous movements of the body.

How far has the human being drifted from desire, from vitality, from natural impulses? Too often, we are stuck in a state of freeze — a subtle but constant inhibition that prevents us from moving toward life with curiosity, creativity, and spontaneity.

Trauma leaves within us an inner brake — often invisible, yet always active — that slows down our ability to feel, to act, to respond fully to the present moment.

Horses, on the other hand, live in immediate connection with what is. They show us a path that is more fluid, more true to life.

During the sessions, we attune to the body and its physical sensations. It is through them that we connect with the autonomic nervous system — that part of us which regulates not only our vital functions, but also our relational states.

By following the movements that naturally arise, we come into contact with areas of shut down and freeze, spaces immobilized by past experiences, and allow them to gently release.

The horses, with their subtle and powerful presence, act as conscious partners. They help us become aware of our inner state while remaining free in their own movements.

Through interaction with them, a subtle dynamic unfolds. Tensions, relational patterns, and buried emotions may surface — not mentally, but through direct experience, in the body, in the moment.

It is a profound reconnection with oneself, a reconciliation with the living world — within and around us.

At The Place of Grace, we weave the foundations for the relationships of the future: relationships where we seek to discover who we truly are, and to co-create with kindness, transparency, listening, truth, and reciprocity.

With awareness of the limitations born of trauma, and openness to the possibilities of the quantum field.

Our professional trainings grow out of this vision.
They do not simply transmit knowledge. They are transformative experiences, touching upon vocation, upon our way of being in the world.

It is an initiation. A path toward oneself, toward others, toward something greater than oneself.

Whether you are a professional in the helping field, in a life transition, or simply moved by the call of the horse…

YOU are welcome here.

This place welcomes you for who you are.

A place of encounter

The Horses

For centuries, we humans have exploited horses for our benefits and needs. It is time, that we enter a journey based on partnership. In doing so, we may open ourselves to their spiritual gifts and subtle abilities. Horses communicate through their energy and finely tuned body language, just as we humans do, only we have mostly lost contact and trust with these abilities.

The trauma of horses is closely intertwined with our own. The encounter in the Here and Now opens spaces of healing and integration, for humans and animals.

Horses have a vast consciousness and wisdom beyond what many of us can imagine and they generously share this with us. This requires that they remain free in the interaction with us at all times and that we come to them fully present, aware of our inner selves and congruent in the present moment. This creates an invitation, allowing us to enter the experience of connection with all there is.

The Place

The Place of Grace is located about 20 km from Nîmes on the banks of the Gardon River.

With around 30 horses, one donkey, two mules, two Shetland ponies, 4 dogs and 3 cats, I live here with the animals and nature as an integrated ecosystem. Together with all the other beings of the place, we create a light-filled atmosphere of transformation, healing and forgiveness, of inner and outer peace.

People who visit this place may experience how relationship with all living beings is paramount.

We come together in sharing and in silence. In an immersion in the Here and Now, we experience what it is like to be felt, seen and understood just as we are.

The Place of Grace is a place where we transcend the disconnection to ourselves and come back from numbness to aliveness. We experience abundance.

When my soul knocked on my door

About Me

Early in my life I already knew what I wanted: to be with horses. After a banking apprenticeship in my home country of Liechtenstein, I moved to the French Pyrenees and later to southern Germany for a few years before I decided to go to Luxembourg. There I found a job in an American bank to finance my training courses in somatic psychotherapy and equine assisted approaches.

After 10 successful and also fulfilling years working as a manager in the bank, 5 years of therapeutic work with humans and horses and as co-director of the Equimotion Equine Assisted Therapy school, my soul came knocking on my door in 2017. I opened up to a truth I had felt for a quite some time: I would not find fulfilment on the path I was currently on.

My intuition was clearly guiding me. A big step into the unknown presented itself to me: To acquire my own horse farm in the south of France…

I do not understand the mystery of Grace, only that it meets us where we are and does not leave us where it found us.
